About us

Built on preparation, relationships and execution.

Tipsy Monkey Productions is a film production company founded by Gary Colt and Emilio Gonzalez Moreno. We take projects from concept to completion, making even the most complicated shoots successful.

That means finding and securing locations, obtaining permits, sourcing crew, equipment and suppliers, arranging transportation and accommodation, and keeping the schedule and budget on track once the cameras roll.

Gary has worked alongside international production companies and film crews, coordinating with producers, directors, department heads, local authorities, property owners, suppliers and communities. He is accustomed to working in fast-moving production environments where schedules change, problems appear and solutions need to be found quickly.

His role is often about taking care of the details that allow everyone else to concentrate on the film.

Locations. Crew. Logistics. Permits. Transportation. Accommodation. Suppliers. Local relationships. Problem solving …

Gary brings these elements together and keeps them moving.

His background in luxury hospitality and large-scale operations adds another dimension to his production experience. He has spent decades managing demanding international environments, large teams, high-profile clients and complex operations. That experience has taught him to remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly and take responsibility for getting things done.

For Gary, successful production is built on preparation, relationships and execution. He believes in being involved, accessible and solution-oriented — whether the requirement is identified months before a shoot or appears unexpectedly on location.

Fluent in English and French, and having worked internationally for decades, Gary is comfortable bridging cultures and working with international cast, crews and production teams.

Today, through Tipsy Monkey Productions Incorporated, Gary brings that experience to productions looking to film in the Caribbean, the United States and internationally — providing the local expertise, production support and practical problem solving needed to get the job done.

For Emilio, production is about more than staying organized. It is about creating the structure that allows creativity to happen.

He is particularly focused on delivering productions on schedule and within budget, while maintaining a professional working environment from the first day of preparation through final wrap.

What we do

Production services.

Whether a requirement is identified months before a shoot or appears on location, we find the practical solution and keep the production moving.

  • Finding and securing the right locations, and working with property owners, local authorities and communities.

  • Obtaining filming permits and working through approvals with the local authorities.

  • Dealing with the offices and officials a shoot depends on, so the paperwork never holds up the day.

  • Local crew, equipment and suppliers, sourced and coordinated with your department heads.

  • Casting local actors and background artists, run on the ground with people we know.

  • Feeding cast and crew on location, sized to the day and the call sheet.

  • Moving and housing cast and crew, arranged and managed from arrival to wrap.

  • Breaking the script down into what each day needs, then building the schedule and budget around it.

  • Pricing the shoot on local rates, so the budget is built on what the region actually charges.

  • Keeping the shooting day on plan, from call time through wrap.

  • Crew coordination, resource management and clear communication between producers, directors and departments.

  • A calm, organized set that stays on schedule and within budget, from the first day of prep through final wrap.

  • Local knowledge and relationships across the Caribbean, with support in English, French and Spanish.
